Scarlet Ibis Studio

I cut these stars out with a jigsaw and carved them using a dremel , with a sanding bit . I must say I was very happy with the way they turned out

This piece was composed for my sister's bedroom . Contrasting the figure's warm colors against a cool blue background . Her eyes are closed in silent prayer. Her right hand outstretched with the cross, to show her openness to God's will her left firm grasping the sword by the blade by which she died showing her unafraid of pain. And the background is littered with tiny primitive symbols of arrows.
